meet the director

Miguel Ángel holds a degree in Anthropology and Forest Engineering. He has studied music at the Granada Conservatory and film at the International Film and Television School of Cuba (EICTV). To date, he has made several short and medium-length films. Gurumbé: Afro-Andalusian Memories is his first feature film.
